Credit the Media Katrina [posted by Troy] Often, our society criticizes the press for sensational news or for too easily crossing tabloid/entertainment with news coverage. Too many times, this is justified. Sometimes it is not. However, we would take note when the 4th estate actually lives up to its promises and brings about right actions in our government and population. During the Hurricane, it was the media that brought us (and the government) many of the first pictures and reports about what was going.
