Steve C
I am so glad to see someone finally running against Zoner, the Commerce land developer and community destroyer. He has a song written about him. It goes like this, "They paved paradise and put up a parking lot. They cut all the trees down and put them in a tree museum." It think the residents of Commerce have had enough with this guy and it is time to have a new supervisor. I know nothing of David Chad, but if he saves even one tree, he would be worth it. I have lived in Commerce for almost 20 years now and I have seen it go down the drain. It used to be so nice, quiet and the woods and meadows were so beautiful. The animals actually had a place to live other than the road. Zoner has made enough money from developer kick backs and it is time for someone who really cares about Commerce to save what is left. We certainly do not need a mall or anymore corner pharmacies, or wetlands paved over with 5 lane roads. And Commerce certainly doesn't need anymore golf courses developed!
into 300 home mega-subdivisions, ie Bogie Lake Golf Course...what a disaster that is. Let us put our tax dollars back into the community to actually help the people who live here and not some millionaire developer or our elected "officials". Come on Commerce, it is time for change now!
