Angels
Iris and a friend of hers were in a vehicle accident on the week-end. They hit some black ice and ended up wrapping the friend's dad's car around a light pole. Snapped it right off as a matter of fact. They walked away without any injuries....they weren't even sore afterwards. Thank goodness for air bags. And while I was of course grateful that they weren't hurt, I didn't dwell a great deal on it. After all, accidents happen and by the sounds of things, this one wasn't that serious.
Yesterday, however, I saw photos of the vehicle, and I freaked. The truck was totalled. A complete mess. And I now have no idea how these girls walked away from the accident, let alone with no injuries. Angels were certainly watching over them on Saturday night!
