Sickies
I have been surrounded by sickies for the past few days. Both Joe and Iris were quite sick all week-end. Joe had planned a birthday party for me on Saturday night but had to cancel. I ended up making my own birthday dinner on Sunday - not that I minded. The kids and I did make it out to lunch on Saturday, but Joe was too sick and stayed in bed. They seem to be better this morning though, so things are looking up.
My friend Ted was also very sick over the week-end, although he crawled out of bed to call and send birthday greetings. Poor guy - he sounded terrible. Get better soon!
