New Assessment in PA
PA Gov Rendell Announces Agreement on Nursing Home Assessment; Calls for Partnership to Expand Pennsylvanians' Care Choices. PA Gov Edward G Rendell joined US Senator Arlen Specter to announce that the federal gov't will be approving a nursing home assessment plan agreed upon by the state and the federal CMS that will provide an additional $1 bln in federal funding to PA's nursing homes over the next 4 years.
