Beverly Charged With Civil Conspiracy Action In Mississippi Federal Court. Beverly Enterprises Inc. and its Mississippi subsidiaries were charged with a civil conspiracy complaint in Mississippi federal court on Nov. 17. The plaintiffs, the family of a former Beverly resident, assert that the nursing home company conspired with its local employees to abuse and neglect its residents to obtain bonuses and larger profit margins (Rita Bennett, in her representative capacity as guardian of Betty Coggins, v.
