Barcelona Musical theatre
It looks like Broadway or west end shows are on the rise in Barcelona.
City folks flock to see them and enjoy been able to understand them in Spanish.

I like music and acting to be fluent in expression and creation of emotions.
The end result is entertainment but should we import into Barcelona musical trends that do not reflect our own culture. ?
In a way it must be good to see the same shows or similar type of shows imported form abroad.
Are we not becoming too uniform in expression?
It is a bit scary.
Do people like to be the same all over the planet?
I once performed in a Chinese play, it was of traditional content but it portrayed feelings unique to a culture, a story unique to their culture.
I would love to see a show unique to our culture. Not a culture reflecting the world urban collective but a culture reflecting the pleasure of life of your loved home.
We all have a home and it must be loved if not we would not be there. Nothing is perfect and home is a comfy place to be.
Yes musical theatre is becoming a very big attraction in Barcelona. World uniform culture is progressing.
