Wilson Ng started helping the family business since 9 years old. Since then, he had dreamt to be a successful entrepreneur, one who starts great businesses  ( he has started 7) from scratch with insight, guts and initiative. He keeps his focus on growing the business by creating value-- not on politics, or wasteful distractions. He brings the same focus to community service, teaching, life and family.

Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Small Business  ( on business)

It is with great excitement to inform that I won the Philippines Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2004 for Small Business last Feb 24, 2005. In the picture are the 5 other winners including the lady, Ma. Socorro Ramos who at 81 years old won the Entrepreneur of the Year as founder of National Book Store chain, which she is still actively involved in managing.  She got a standing ovation because she is known for her great simplicity and humility.

Together in the picture is (left) David Balangue, Chairman, SGV Foundation, and (right) James Turley, world chairman, Ernst and Young.

How I wish I can continue to work and be active at 81 !  To live a long and productive life, to accomplish great tasks and touch lives, and to be remembered most for our affability and humility, isn't that something to aspire for?
