1. Contribute effectively to the preparation and revision in due time of the budget  as well as to the assembly of the overall budget.
2. Optimize the quality of Depts. works of a budgetary nature by guaranteeing the  monthly publication and by checking the coding of expenditures permanently.
3. Contribute to the respect of commitments / budgets.
4. Ensure the accuracy of structure costs reallocations to mechanisms adopted and  contribute to the monitoring of effects.
5. Accomplish effectively to the timely production of the financial reports.  
6. Contribute to the responsive and helpful image of Finance Departament.

• Assist Depts. in calculating, or revising their budgets according to prescribed procedures and standards
• Analyze and organize Structure costs.
• Calculate the value of Unit Works (estimated costs/man hours) for the allocation of structure costs.
• Consolidate and produce all details budgets per cost center for the departments' reference and follow up.
• Consolidate and produce all details budgets for the group and the external parties

• Be informed of the progress of operation.
• Control opening of Request for Services (RFS) in STAR and in SAP; follow-up realizations and adjustments.
• Supervise Cost Controllers in the monitoring analysis of realizations vs. authorized commitments  alert when percentage of realization (invoice or not) reaches 80% so that, if warranted, amendments to contracts/order or revision of AFE is prepared on time.
• Analyze cost price reports and prepare monthly internal report(realized vs. budget) for Dept. & Serv. Concernid
• Advise Head of Service on problems encountered such as allocations between cost centers, flow of documentation, etc; study and propose improvements.

• Prepare monthly accruals of Dept. & Services concerned in liaison with technicians.
• Calculate monthly base (percentage keys) reallocation for office and expatriates costs.
• Analyze the monthly allocations of structure costs for codification soundness
• Coordinate and execute the monthly and year closing of the Controlling module.

• Prepare the monthly expenditure reports to Partners
• Prepare the monthly internal Group reporting.
• Revise the  AFE's closure reports to Partners
• Act as a financial and administrative aid to the  Managers.
• Creating and populating all required reports and information analysis needed for the integral management
• Assist Dept. & Serv. in interpreting and making use of accounting reports correctly and effectively. Improve and promote the use of BW reporting tool.
• Lead the Asset Financial Control team into a service department that provides timely and useful information

• Qualified Public Accountant with experience in multi-ventured environments. 
  
• Ability to negotiate and communicate with partners and clients in conflictive environments.
• Computer literate and ability to use specialized accounting / reporting software.
• SAP Experience is a must.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; advanced knowledge of French, desired.
• Adaptability and aptitude to learn quickly and understand petroleum industry operations.
• Good interpersonal and communicative skills.
