The Indie Film awards were held on the Beach in Santa Monica yesterday.

The Winners include "Brokeback Mountain" - best picture, Phillip Seymour Hoffman - best actor for "Capote", Felicity Huffman - best female lead for "Transamerica".

Oscar nominee Felicity Huffman, who won for ‘‘Transamerica,” brought down the house by quoting Bob Izzo, ‘‘the coolest key grip,” who on a 14-foot ladder when location filming was rough said, ‘‘This fucking movie better win some fucking awards because it’s a fucking pain in the ass.” Huffman smiled, ‘‘And I want to say to him, ‘Bob, we won the FUCKING award.’ ”
