FREEDOM'S JUST ANOTHER WORD: Thirty-four people crowded into a 28-foot boat and set out across the Florida Straits, escaping Cuba. They didn't make it. Three were rescued and returned to the island they had risked their lives to escape. The rest are lost without a trace. According to Coast Guard Petty Officer Ryan Doss, "34 people in one boat is usually an indication that they were trying to enter the United States illegally."
Good point.
