Grand Forks, North Dakota offers some wonderful chances to see both the Snowy Owl and the Bald Eagle. November they say is a real good time for both of these birds to be in the area. I would think that the ability to find food in this area is what would bring them there. Maybe they are migrating to another spot. Always that chance. 7:18:03 PM    comment [] Australia is getting twitchy. I guess twitching is setting out to see as many species of birds possible. It becomes a competition to see more and more birds. I wouldn't think there would be as much enjoyment in this as just being out in nature, but for some it must be exciting. 7:32:05 AM    comment [] Maine has a very nice blog with a article that talks about birding in Maine. It must be a nice place to spend time outdoors among the birds. Many different sightings and observations. 7:22:27 AM    comment [] Cleveland, Ohio has a very good article in the paper about how birding has came a long ways since 1978 and it is considered a mixed blessing. It has became a very popular hobby and continues to grow. This particular article says that there are between 50 & 70 million birders in the U.S. 7:12:18 AM    comment []
