Montana had a few species of birds on there annual count that are not common birds there. Couple of species that are normally only seen on the coast. They had some doves that were introduced to the area and that has some people concerned about population explosion.

Arkansas has a lot of people in search of the Ivory Bill. I sure hope they don't drive that bird completely out of the only place they live. I tend to think that if it is left alone it probably be better off. If anyone has any thoughts on this please post it on our message board.

Maine is having a convention with the American Birding Association for the first time in 25 years. The convention should be good for the state and they hope to show people how much birding there is available in the state.
