couple of things...the new blogger that i have mentioned is the real deal. don't ask how i know, but he ain't santa claus. this is good to know as the blog is indeed quite good and highly entertaining....at least for me, anyway. i hope he blogs for a long time. i saw something over on Scoble's site that i wondered if it existed. a map of blogs called a feedmap. i even sent an email to Sifry a couple of months back asking if such a thing existed. it must have been a dumb question as he didn't reply. anyway, this came up once during a comment exchange with Jennifer Rice. we were discussing link exchanges and my observation was that if someone wanted to be "noticed", then we needed a "map" of all blogs. with said map, everyone would have a resonable opportunity to be "discovered" due to geographic proximity or geographic curiousity - say, how many bloggers are in Bali. so, looking at Scoble's site today, i see a map with relative blogger locations. very cool! it must be relatively new as i haven't noticed it on his site recently. i went over to the feedmap beta site and entered my location. not a lot of bloggers in my neck of the woods. lots in redmond...wonder why? 11:52:26 PM    comment []
