Best of House Mix 2006
Well, after just getting back from my group, The Impossebulls and our subgroup LOWdown touring with Public Enemy and X-Clan I sure am tired, but in need of posting some podcast mixes...word...
Much respect goes to our mentor Chuck D for the tour hookup and support. If you haven't met the man or seen PE play live you sure area missing out...
As for this mix...here is another belated posting, this one which was recorded at the end of December 2006, which includes a few of my favorite house tracks from 2006, which I did not use in any mixes I posted here. Included are some big records and some that might have falled under the radar. I wasn't able to include some I had wanted to, and initially planned to make this a 2 part mix, but due to time I am just leaving this one on it's own.
However, I have just completed an unofficial 'Winter Music Conference 2007 Warmup House Mix' for all of you WMC devotees, or just to pretend that you're there for those not planning to go, which I will certainly post in the next day or so, so it's sort of a bonus. I am also working on a new Hip-Hop mix which will be more of a range of released material, rather than spanning some specific period of time, like the 'Golden Age Mix' I did last.
