Show #56: Net Neutrality and a Soundseeing Trip.

A Saturday morning show which includes an extended ramble through the topic of net neutrality. Inspired by Dave Slusher's recent comments on the topic in his June 19 podcast of Evil Genius Chronicles I talk about media and the different degrees of user involvement offered by different media forms. The segment ends with an anecdote about writer and anarchist George Woodcock and the concept of citizen/netizen.

I sent an audio comment to Dave in response to his requests for comments on the net neutrality issue, though whether he plays it or not, we'll see (hear).

The song God Save the Internet by The Broadband leads into a short soundseeing segment of my trip to the Home Depot and I end the show with another song by the higly talented Jill Sobule.

If you have any comments or feedback about today's show, send me an email, or better yet, send me an audio comment at triecken@gmail.com and I'll use it in an upcoming show.
