Sex as music

As "The Sex Album" begins, you hear a wash of sound that whooshes, clicks and roars. There's something decidedly organic going on here, even with all the obvious computer manipulation.

Well, the album's title should give you a major hint as to what you're hearing. All of the sounds, from drumbeats to guitars and keyboards, on "The Sex Album" were produced by people having sex.

Some of the lyrics are explicit, but are more narratives of specific events than mere titillating profanity. You can hear MP3s of some of the songs at www.thesexalbum.com.

Bips a dud

According to Internet sites, probably her debacle in Sachin had something to do with her sudden change of mind, but Bipasha Basu has announced that she is going to get into some serious acting, for a change.

The much-awaited debut of Bollywood Sex-Bomb Bipasha Basu turned out to be a dud with the film Sachin drawing only average collections at the box office.

Americans too sleepy for sex

Many Americans are so sleepy that they are having problems in their marriages, making mistakes at work and even going without sex, according to a report.
The poll by the National Sleep Foundation found that 75 per cent of adults frequently have a symptom of a sleep problem such as frequent waking during the night or snoring. But few believe they have a sleep problem and most ignore it.

Eva Longoria - Gabrielle SolisDesperate Housewives

It gets better

Desperate Housewives' Eva Longoria, fresh from a $1 million deal with L'Oreal, who celebrated her 30th birthday last month, has revealed that sex has got better as she's got older.

The sexy star - who last month admitted that she loves watching pornographic films - said celebrating the landmark birthday had opened up a whole new world of sexual freedom for her.

She added: "I just came into my own sexuality at 30. I don't think it's something you can experience at 18 or any time before that."

Lance back in the seat

The news is that cycling supremo Lance Armstrong will try for an unprecedented seventh win of the Tour de France. The jury is still out, says impotence-guide.com, on whether cycling causes impotence.

A survey conducted on participants in a Norwegian endurance bike race found that 20% of the competitors reported penile numbness lasting from a few minutes to a day or more following the event and that 13% of competitors reported temporary impotence.

Sex and the pregnant woman
Like other expectant women, I had to adapt to the pregnancy weight gain and the new style of clothes. I remember searching for maternity lingerie that was more like what I wore before becoming pregnant, and less like something my grandmother would wear. My desire to find attractive undergarments stemmed from my increased sex drive. I realized that my desire for sex had gone above and beyond that of my normal, pre-pregnancy level.

Many women I spoke to, while not necessarily thrilled with their new sizes, also experienced a similar libido surge. Much to my husband's delight, I enjoyed a type of heightened erotica and pleasure in the latter stages of all my pregnancies.

New pope a gay-basher, says gay.com

White smoke rose above the Sistine Chapel and bells heralded the election of a new pope on Tuesday, but the symbolism lacked joy for many LGBT Catholics once they learned the new pope is Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger of Germany.

The 78-year-old ultraconservative cardinal has been the doctrinal guardian for the church as prefect of the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith since 1981. Liberals often refer to him as "God's rottweiler" because of his reputation for cracking down on dissenters, including those who have challenged the church's teachings on homosexuality.

Lincoln definitely sexual, say historians

It must have been the first conference in the history of Abraham Lincoln scholarship to call the Great Emancipator ''a terrifically sexual guy.''
