As part of the "Great Michigan Read" program, presented by the Michigan Humanities Council, an affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, which is featuring Ernest Hemingway's Nick Adams Stories, Hackley Public Library is sponsoring a talk by Thomas Carney. Mr. Carney will talk about the importance of Michigan in the life of Ernest Hemingway. The event is free, but please call ahead (231-722-7276) so we can arrange for enough seating.
