Book Reviews from Investigate a Good Book participants The Lark’s Lament by Alan Gordon: This book grabs you from the first page and doesn’t let go! Really a good read. Now I am on the lookout for other books of the Fool’s Guild. Manhunt by Janet Evanovich: Fun, quick read—perfect for a day at the beach! Manifold Destiny by Chris Maynard: Entertaining, author has great sense of humor. Love and Respect by Emerson Eggrich: Great book to explain how husbands and wives have needs for different things and how they can relate to each other. Bachelors Puzzle by Judith Pella: I enjoyed this fun romantic novel. It was clear and very well written. The main character impersonates a pastor. There was enough humor romance and mystery to keep me interested. I couldn’t believe how fast I read it. Supermob by Gus Russo: A lot of revealing information about political, and criminal corruption in the past century. Real Men do Yoga by John Capouya: Good exercise program for men. Freedom Writer’s Diary by Freedom Writers: I am sure the writers (Teens) were just as inspired, challenged to take the steps toward success and express their inner most thoughts, fears and goals through written words/journals. What a great book for teens and adults. Ambler Warning by Robert Ludlum: The best part of this book is the ending. The Green Mile by Stephen King: Not as good as the movie but the book is always good. Shelter Mountain by Robyn Carr: Great 2nd book. Look forward to book 3. Accidental Tourist by Anne Tyler: Typical Anne Tyler book—fascinating portrayals of rather quirky yet believable characters. What a mind Ms. Tyler has to come up with these great ideas! 3:13:07 PM
