Book Reviews from Investigate a Good Book participants For King and Country by Kate Sedley: Not my favorite of Kate Sedley’s books. Lots of interesting history, but the heroine gets herself into bad situations over and over—and she’s described as intelligent! Sisters by Danielle Steel: As always, D. S.’s books are so well written. She develops her characters and the story line flows effectively. I enjoyed this easy read as much as her others. I would rate this book a 7 out of 10. McKettrick’s Heart by Linda Lael Miller: Great conclusion to a great book series. Fool me once by Fern Michaels: An easy read, weak plot. In Cahootz by Quentin Carter: This book was unique. The author will have you turning pages at the end the last page is a dropper worth reading the whole book. The Road by Cormac McCarthy: Absolute wonder! Keeps yer wanting more. Mystery, suspense, thrilling and heartwrenching all in one. Keeps yer wanting more. Breathe by Cliff McNish: Excellent. Keeps yer wanting to hear more. Spooky! Over the moon by Angela Knight, Mary Janice Davidson, Virginia Kantra, and Sunny: Funny, sensual collection of stories. Phenomenon by Sylvia Browne: Sylvia makes you stop and think because she sees mostly good in everything, even things most people consider evil. Damsels in Distress by Joan Hess: Enjoyable. 12:21:00 PM
