Venezuela, Colombia & Mexico Clinch World Cup Berths

Day 4 - Final

Vallarta Nayarit, Mexico (October 8, 2005) Venezuela's Carlos Larrain and Manuel Bermudez won the 2005 Paradise Village Nations Cup by carding a record-breaking 7-under 64 in the final alternate shot foursomes. There 21-under par 262 total was two strokes better than Colombia's Eduardo Herrera and Diego Vanegas, who also shot a brilliant 64 at El Tigre Club de Golf.

The third and final World Cup berth available at the event presented by the Convention and Visitors Bureau of Vallarta Nayarit went to Mexico's Pablo Del Olmo and Alejandro Quiroz. The local favorites went on to defeat Chile in a dramatic four-hole playoff.
