Mexico (Nov. 30, 2005) – “I'm committed to winning the tournament once again”, said Argentina's Rafael Gomez on his expectations for the 48th Abierto Mexicano de Golf Corona. The US$305,000 co-sanctioned event between the Tour de las Americas and the European Challenge Tour will start tomorrow at the Club de Golf La Hacienda.

FUTURES Tour Members Compete in LPGA Final Qualifying This Week

LAKELAND, Fla., Nov. 29, 2005 -- Sixty-four members of the FUTURES Golf Tour will step onto the first tee in this week's LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament in Daytona Beach, Fla. A final field of 142 professionals will compete in the 90-hole final qualifier for the 2006 season, which will be staged Nov. 30 through Dec. 4.

"Courtney [Wood] and I have been playing and practicing and if they'd called us last week and said they had moved up Q-School, we would have played," said Meaghan Francella of Portchester, N.Y., who automatically advanced into the final stage by finishing 15th on the 2005 FUTURES Tour Money List. "I feel like, 'Let's go, and let's get this thing done.' I'm really ready to play."
