Golfnytt fra Norge:

Henrik klar for Tiger & Co!

Antonio Maldonado Defends Mexico’s Golfing Honor

48th Abierto Mexicano de Golf Corona
Club de Golf La Hacienda
Day 4 - Final

Mexico (Dec. 4, 2005) - The 48th Abierto Mexicano de Golf Corona's trophy stayed home thank to a valiant effort by local star Antonio Maldonado, winner of the 2005 Mexican Tour Ranking. The 38-year old man shot 67 in the final round for a total of 9-under par 275 and one stroke victory over Argentina's Rafael Gomez and France's Mickael Dieu.

Mexico's Octavio Gonzalez, tied with Dieu for the lead at the beginning of the day, played poorly at the start. However, he was able to sink a spectacular 50-feet putt for birdie at the final hole to take the solo fourth spot.
