Off-topic post: We did it!
Along with 61 other people, I spent Saturday cycling 50 miles through North Hampshire, which (in my opinion) has some of the most beautiful countryside in the world. I've been on a bicycle 3 times in the last 10 years, so I was pretty pleased with my 4 hours 11 minutes time.
Best of all, we've made the £6,000 we need for a new wheelchair for Rossy, plus some left over which the charity will find a suitable home for. I'm looking forward to being able to chat with Ross at head height.
Thank you to everyone who gave their support. The next event is the grand Conkers Tournament in the pub on 4 November, so we've got a month to bake, soak, drill, inject and generally modify our conkers before the big day...
