Profile Archiving Feature Makes Email Searching Easier
Austin, TX, June 20, 2006 - RenewData, a leader in Information Governance for corporations and law firms including email archiving, compliance and electronic discovery solutions, announced today the launch of a new profile archiving capability for ComplianceNOW.
ComplianceNOW provides email archiving, compliance, secure messaging and mailbox management capabilities that complement the company's market-proven electronic discovery solutions. With the addition of profile archiving, organizations can now search electronic communications in a manner beyond conventional email address centric parameters such as "sent," "received," "subject" and "keywords" and easily and intuitively expand their searches to include parameters such as:
-
Name - Searching by name eliminates the need for the users to know all of the associated electronic messaging addresses for a specific individual (i.e. email, Bloomberg, chat and instant message addresses).
-
Supervisory Group - Searching by supervisory group enables review of messages in a manner compliant with regulations to include NASD Rule 3010 and simplifies searches while ensuring all appropriate individuals are addressed in the search.
-
Human Resource Group - Searching by human resource group which are often organized by location codes, cost centers or other company specific groupings and simplifies searches by allowing for the search of individuals based on their organizational grouping.
"RenewData's new profile archiving capability addresses one of the major challenges facing email archiving systems today - conducting searches that consider more than email addresses and include considerations such as an individual's organizational role during certain time frames," said Bob Gomes, president and CEO, RenewData. "With the availability of this profile archiving capability in our compliance archiving solutions, we will provide our customers a simpler and more efficient way to conduct searches. This will save them time and will help them reduce the costs associated with searches during compliance auditing and litigation."
"It appears that RenewData is truly committed to enhancing its compliance archiving customer's capabilities with this new profile archiving feature," said industry analyst Michael Osterman, founder and managing director of Osterman Research. "The ability to search based on roles and employment dates should result in more complete searches with fewer search iterations - which should reduce the time and costs normally associated with these searches."
