Pumpkin

Is the name of our pussycat. Pumpkin is seven-years old now, and a nice clean, healthy kitty who would never, ever do her business anywhere other than her litter box. She is a spay, but has managed to keep herself a very svelte kitty figure at a mere ten pounds American. And no, this is not my first attempt at cat blogging, but lots of people out there who do it some kind of justice. Me? Ow!

Night train

James Brown is dead.  A major American artist, the IRS has placed a lein on his popcorn machine. Hey, seventy-three ain't bad, and he's left behind thousands of artifacts for us to worship if we choose to, including some of the most thrilling entertainments ever performed. Please, please, please?  Maybe not for the faint of heart, but rock & roll never was. This is a man's world, a man's world, you see, but it wouldn't be nothing, nothing without a woman or a girl...He'd be lost in the bitter end.
