Dave, the usage of international Characters in Radio still doesn't work right. The RSS-File and the Headlines (btw. in the Shortcuts too) still mess up with international Charactersets. Would you please fix it! Here is an example of the mess. Since this issue has not been fixed for quite some time, i have made this entry a "Shortcut" to be able to send this reminder anytime i want to. Be warned ;-)

RSS und dann? Update (Blagg) Das dazu gehörende Weblogtool blosxom für OS X sieht genial aus.

  • Weblogging in under 15 minutes or your money back ;-)
  • Absolutely FREE for the taking!
  • Made for, but in no way limited to, Mac OS X.
  • Write from the comfort of your favourite text editor -- be it BBEdit, vi, emacs, notepad, ...
  • Makes use of all the operating system and Web server beneath its feet have to offer -- whether Mac OS X and Apache or Windows XP and IIS.
  • Multiple Weblogs with only one Blosxom installation.
  • Permalinks point to (aka bookmark) a particular story.
  • By-day, by-month, and by-year "archives."
  • Style with CSS and HTML header/footer.
  • RSS syndication and aggregation.
  • Did I mention FREE for the taking?
  • Getting better all the time.
  • Simpler than pie drag-n-drop installation.
  • Small (<= 61 lines of actual code ;-) and lightweight.
  • Minimal requirements (Perl CGI's about it).
  • Intelligent defaults.
  • Minimalist in terms of requirements and know-how, yet feature-packed and infinitely extensible (thanks to the power of Perl).

And just to make shure, that this is not overheard: Dave, the usage of international Characters in Radio still doesn't work right. Vint Cerf: "The Internet is for everyone."  [Scripting News]
"The number of Internet users will likely reach over 1000 million by the end of the year 2005, but that is only about 16% of the world's population.  By 2047 the world's population may reach about 11 billion.  If only 25% of the then world's population is on the Internet, that will be nearly 3 billion users."

Andy Fragen, Marc Barrot and Mark Paschal form a trio of power Frontier and Radio users whom I have added as resources to my Docs, Scripts and Tools

(I use Andy's Print Tool to shove those OPML outlines to a browser for .. well .. printing. It works. Try it.)
