Another Perfect Summer Day in April
This is the third or fourth day in a row with record breaking temperatures. Note how far we are out of the normal Anchorage temperature range for April. We've had gorgeous summer days. A friend and I have done major walking on the Coastal Trail and around Lake Hood, I've raked leaves and picked up sticks in the yard for two evenings (the yard clean-up crew came yesterday morning), and L and I have simple enjoyed the marvelous warm air and brilliant sun!
I'm kicking myself this morning for not having anything ready to edit---Grammar Dog and/or IPT proposal---so I can drive to Beluga Point and sit in the sun, watch the tide come in or go out and edit.
Yesterday I finished my last (one of a string of "lasts") major project for the Slingerland Institute--at least for the next six months. I did the Vacancy announcement for the new full-time Slingerland Excutive position for the office in Bellevue, WA, the position's job discription, and the job discription for the revised position of the current Dean of Faculty.
Now I'm back working on the proposal for the IPT monies for my Stock Market Game program. According to my self-imposed schedule, I am 8 sections behind in my work. This section consists of determining the 2 measurable objectives for each of my 3 main Goals. I also have to describe how I will know when success has been achieved---will I be able to recognize when success happens.
