Pre-Conference World Affairs Councils of America
Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning I attended the Pre-Conference Workshops for Council staffs. Wednesday the topic was Promising Practices. I've sat through many such presentations, but this one contained a number of ideas that would actually work.
Thursday morning we heard about the various student programs. One of the larger student program partnerships is with the National Geographic. We went to the National Geographic building for lunch and to learn about their program, My Wonderful World.
Thursday evening, Friday, Saturday
I've heard a number of good speakers and Q & A sessions. I'll finish organizing my thoughts on the plane to Seattle tomorrow morning, I want to pull something together for a 15/20 min highlight of the Conference.
