It is March 15th and 20 below!

Once again this the Most Unusual Winter We Have Had----cold and more cold and even more cold, cold, cold.

It's nice to be sitting in my warm, sunny office at home playing catch up on all the bookwork I've neglected for the past nine months. Yes, the tax info is ready to go to the accountant tomorrow---I don't, however, want to hear the results of the final analysis.

I finished my Alaska World Affairs projects last week and turned in my keys. However, I will continue to do some speaker entertaining/escorting on an as-needed-basis. It has been a great year of working and learning with Barbara and Farah. I have always wondered if I could get and hold a non-teaching job. Well I can, and I did! I've learned that I can work around the dyslexia in an office situation, better than I thought I could. Most importantly, I validated that I am truly a project person---give me a project, the date due, and the results you want and leave me on my own. I've also learned that if I'm not learning and putting it to immediate use, it becomes "let me out of here."
