Delightful Lunch with the Stars

The Anchorage Opera is presenting Carmen in a couple weeks. This was brunch at the Top of the World and an introduction to the lead singers. Each sang a selection from a Broadway musical. Carmen, who grew up in Kansas and went to KU, sat at our table. What would the rest of the U.S. do without those of us who grew up in Kansas and moved around the country!

Six Non-Stop Weeks Have Come to an End.

Out-of-town company, the BetterInvesting Alaska Chapter all day Education Fair, teaching Introduction to Mutual Funds and teaching Econ and Stocks, running meetings, and other things I was responsible for have all come and gone.

Now, it's called catching up on all the things that have been long neglected---blogging, house cleaning, ironing, paper work, investing (a down market means I haven't missed much), my two non-profit volunteerism, and all the other things I have forgotten about in the process.

In the meantime, other things keep chugging along. I have doubled the number of teachers participating in the Stock Market Game program and have added another tutor student.

Life is returning to normal---what ever that is----and how much normalcy do I want.
