Life Goes On!
There have been three months of primaries, two weeks of Olympics, the World Series, the Dem and Repub conventions, two months of campaigning, the investment bank melt downs, the significant decline of the stock market, and finally, election night. Now, life is getting back to normal. I had nearly forgotten what it was like---very quiet, no radio, no TV, no blog reading! Today, I'm back to reading, housekeeping, tutoring (a new 5th grade client), and investing when the market comes back a bit more solidly. In the meantime, I turned down a 3-week temp job and decided to stay home and make the same amount of money in the Market. I succeeded thanks to GCI. They came through for me once again!
