Dave has an idea to meld glasses and the location of 802.11b "hotspots".
Just read a story yesterday in Scientific American, which has an article this month on Augmented Reality: "Augmented reality refers to computer displays that add virtual information to a user's sensory perceptions. Most AR research focuses on "see-through" devices, usually worn on the head, that overlay graphics and text on the user's view of his or her surroundings." Was reading Craig Burton's weblog last night and came across a link to a weblog run by John Ludwig. While reading some old entries I came across a post from March 7, 2002 about farmed Atlantic salmon: "Sadly tho we are seeing the widescale introduction of atlantic salmon farming here in the northwest. There is little good about this in my mind."
John is down in Washington state, but north of the 49th there's been a resurgence of interest with a recent decision on "salmon aquaculture" by the Liberal provincial government. Rafe Mair, the host of a local talk radio show on CKNW, has been doing some regular coverage with goverment guests/scientists etc. You can find a recap on the FishFile with notes about previous shows etc.
I wonder who'll have the first weblog about farmed Atlantic salmon?
