I learned about an incredible feature on OSX from Ken Bereskin's weblog. The Universal Access control panel has a Zoom setting for your screen that is off by default. Enabling it allows you to zoom in on your screen area while retaining amazing quality. 7:40:37 PM    Discuss

We had our big christmas bash at the castle last night. About 50 friends and relatives. We served hot and cold buffet and had snow machines and film lighting for exterior effects. Video to follow soon. This morning I had the tedious task of pressure-hosing down the back patio, windows and cars to free them from the "snow" remnants, which is basically detergent soap pressurized through a stocking to create the desired winter effect. Our outside garden furniture now has lovely white spots. Apparently cleaned by the snow. 4:25:22 PM    Discuss
