Hole is now very deep

I've been digging in my radio setup[ for most of the afternoon now, trying to figure out just what is 'freezing' my system at the top of each [and every] minute.
 It wasn't tools
Nor upstreaming (and all associated file system checks)
I also compacted all my data files

Still hosed

The aggregator is running (ater a restart of the app), so the clock shows time stuck at 8:31:00 PM
This is is normal behaviour for my setup

During this entire time I was able to use the outliner to type, no problem.
Now the clock is unstuck because the News scan has completed and it's back to freezing every minute for 15 seconds
 crap

Marcus had an idea

He made me turn off the Save databases every minute thread.
 It didn't work :(
Going to try a restart just to make sure

Testing Upstreaming

At Dave's suggestion, I've turned off upstreaming while using my outliner to eliminate the 'freeze effect' every minute.
of course the aggregator also takes it's toll on processing cycles, but it shouldn't be too bad.
Hmm, looks like the problem is still here. Only now I actually hear my hard disk rattle every minute on the minute, in addition to the kaleidescope wheel :(
Disabling tools

One at a time to figure out which tool is the culprit. Murphy would undoubtedly make sure it's one of my favourites
the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog
Hmm, bad news, it hasn't stopped, and all of my tools are now off.

Day 2 of my Outliner2Weblog Experience

Small problem I've noticed while using the outliner. Radio is running some process every minute which temporarily freezes the program, resulting in the kaleidoscope wheel spinning and no inputs for about 15 seconds.
I looked at the scheduler, but none of the four processes there are freezing, I suspect it's one of the many tools I have loaded.
 Still digging!

Frustration

This kaleidescope spinning wheel of death is really harshing my mellow. The whole point of this is to write in my outliner. Not fun when it's frozen.
