Drivel: As if I did not have enough to do, I lost the power supply on my firewall yesterday morning. The vendor, Sonicwall, sent a new one overnight. Everything is back up and running now. If you own a Sonicwall product, you might want to check to see who manufactures your power supply. Sonicwall is replacing all power supplies manufactured by Volgen America, Inc. If you have one made by Volgen, call Sonicwall and they will replace it free of charge. Believe me, you don't want to wait for it to fail like mine did. I spent about eight hours over the past two days dealing with this issue; which included two 40 minute waits on the phone with Sonicwall tech support, diagnosing the problem, readdressing my entire network so that there was minimal service outage, rebuilding the Sonicwall box from scratch, and readdressing the network again to pull everything back behind the firewall. 2:20:07 PM

Drivel: It has been tough getting ready for the new gig out in Seattle. Tons of stuff to do and not enough time. The start date has been pushed out a week to the 22nd of July, which means I now have more time. This is very good because there is a lot of stuff to be wrapped up at Bank Street College. The car is ready to go. I have all the gear I need. All that is left to do is pack and load up. 2:13:31 PM
