I know I am slow to test the mypictures tool. It's been a busy week full of writing and editing plus the real day job is picking up big time, of course. When it rains, it pours, right? Well, this is downright outpour. Anyway, it took two minutes to get it working. This is how to do it:
- In Radio Desktop, click on My Pictures.
- "Check" the Check this box to enable the My Pictures tool.
- In the "Watch this folder for new pictures:" entry box, either leave it as the default or point it to the place you want Radio to keep its eyes peeled for new images. For the test, I left it at the default: C:Documents and SettingsMerylMy DocumentsMy PicturesRadio Upstream
- In the, "Copy new pictures to this folder:" leave it as the default for simplicity's stake.
- In the, "Template:" leave it as the default.
- Hit SUBMIT.
- Grab an image file (GIF or JPG) from someplace and save it to the "C:\Documents and Settings\Meryl\My Documents\My Pictures\Radio Upstream\" folder.
- Back in Radio Desktop, you'll see the image has immediately uploaded into the entry box. Enter your entry and POST & PUBLISH.
- I took an extra step and clicked on the SOURCE box and changed the image's ALIGN from "RIGHT" to "LEFT."
Too darn easy. 12:06:19 PM What? ()
