Woman, 40, discovers how to spell her name. A school learning assistant has just realised she's been spelling her name wrong all of her life. Uh-huh. I guess this is believable since my dad had no idea what his first name was until he entered the Air Force. Sound stupid? Actually, no. Everyone called him by his middle name from day one. Brits invent chocolate beer. Ooh, could this be the achilles' heel for women? I'd be game to try it, but I doubt it will be anything exciting. I remember the Canfield's Chocolate canned soda... blech. [FARK] 11:19:23 AM What? ()

Pixar does the iMac. [ via Kimbro Straken ] The loop is closed. Pixar made two ads for the new iMac. It really is the great grandchild of Luxo, Jr. [ QuickTime, duh! ] It was bound to happen with the Apple and Pixar connection (Steve Jobs) and the fact that I thought the iMac look awful a lot like the Pixar lamp mascot.
I just have to rant about this - I *hate* IE 6 and WinXP's inability to properly play QuickTime movies. Not sure if this is Apple's fault or M$. I researched the issue in vain and found no solution. Yes, I made sure I got the Active-X from Apple. [More Like This WebLog] 11:11:11 AM What? ()
