Saturday, July 08, 2000 My sister, crafty shopper that she is, already managed to pick up a copy of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire locally and for cheaper than my online purchase to boot. Ahh well. I'll have my copy soon enough. 1:05:00 AM     Saturday, July 08, 2000 While Python for Palm OS is an excellent concept, it's still strictly an alpha release and for now a bit limited. Hopefully they'll be able to get some more developers interested and make the necessary improvements that will allow for an interactive interface. I'll be keeping my eye on this one. 12:56:00 AM     Saturday, July 08, 2000 It looks like Harry Potter may be showing up Saturday afterall. Even though Barnes and Noble had indicated on their site that they were shipping HP IV via United States Post Service priority mail, my inital order confirmation talked about shipping via UPS. That had me a little worried since I was having it shipped to my apartment rather than work. Luckily I received a new confirmation email indicating it was on the way via USPS so I should be okay. Incidentally, I also ordered Rafe Colburn's Using SQL book and it should be showing up as well. Chicken Run is a fun (and funny) little movie. I highly recommend it for all ages. 12:47:00 AM
