It's funny that a couple people have mentioned getting the new cuecat scanner with the latest copy of Wired. I got my copy of Wired last week, but no cool electronic gizmo to go with it.
Mindvision released an update to MindControl, my application launcher (and more) of choice. If you're a Mac user and you haven't given this a whirl I highly recommend you download it and try it out.
Speaking of updates, BBEdit 6.0 was released today. I'm still deciding whether or not this will be an upgrade I make. There's a new competitor called Pepper that's very interesting and it already offers python syntax coloring support.
