Snow And Parking Woes
I feel very lucky to have been able to get out of my parking spot this morning. Yesterday evening when I returned home from work I grabbed the most readily available spot, a spot on a hill that in snowy conditions I wouldn't even consider. So of course this morning I found my car buried under four inches of snow with cars parked in front and behind. Thankfully there was still a large rectangle of bare ground directly beneath my car so I was able to get enough traction to wiggle my way back up and out onto the road, but I had too sweat it out for a few moments.
The good news is that today is the first day of Spring. The bad news is that it's been snowing continuously for the last two hours since I arrived at work.
