deepLinking Dallas Morning News: "If you operate a Web site and wish to link to this Site, you may link only to the home page of the Site and not to any other page or subdomain of us."  [Scripting News]

I have a better idea; How about I put you (Dallas Morning News) in my hosts file, map it to 127.0.0.1, and you cease to exist for everyone on my network?

Better yet, why don't we all do that?

Gosh. I sure hope so.

Just had a chance to do a clean Mac OS X install on a new iMac. 17 minutes from start to finish. Gosh, I remember Windows taking 45min-1 Hour to install. Oh wait, it still does, doesn't it? :)

So, I had this thought a few months ago, and I'm now really thinking of doing it;

I want to scan in all my old Grimjack comics and turn them into PDF's or something, and make them downloadable.

The trick is, that I'm trying to figure out if there's an ethical problem involved.

I mean, I'd like some of the folks I know (Hi John!)to read Grimjack, but at the same time, I really don't want to trash my in-pretty-good-shape collection of them. (I think I'm only missing like one issue)

I mean, it's not like anyone is going to be losing money on them, other than maybe a comic book shop who's selling them. As I recall, they're not actually worth anything anyways. (By which I mean they're not valuable collectables or anything.)

What I would like is for folks to be able to read 'em. Any thoughts anyone?

Technical Note: I was thinking PDF simply because of a couple of reasons.First off, it's on paper, and therefore I thought "PDF". Alternately, it's easy for folks to get in one big package. Now that I'm really thinking about it, maybe Flash or QuickTime would make more sense? It would probably yield me better compression of the images, and thusly make the size a lot more manageable. Any opinions?
