When I heard that Nader was going to run, I thought to myself: great, Nader himself managed to make me embarrassed to have voted for him the last time, when no one else could.
I guess that's an achievement of some kind....
I mean, I never bought the "Nader cost Gore the election" thing. Sorry, but Gore cost Gore the election. He was just downright weird in public debates, he shifted his position too many times, and he really made a mistake, IMO in distancing himself from his previous 8 years of good work with Clinton.
I like Gore and respect Gore, but he is definitely the one who screwed the pooch in 2000.
