Turned over So, the day just kept on a-rollin'. It never quite rose to that crescendo that marks a memorably crappy day, but it's kept a firm rudder to stay in the Tropic of Suck.
You know the universe is out to nail you when you got to get breakfast at around 4PM at a fast-food place, and are informed that "I'm sorry, we're out of Coke". This is not the sign of a bad day; this is the universe thumbing its nose at you.

One of my turns coming on...
Y'know, there are days that just are no fun whatsoever.
This morning definitely started out that way. In the time it took me to get to to my first client, I had:
- Gotten into something of an argument with J about TV and schooling, including her using the word "unsalvagable" in reference to Lillian. (Rrrrrrrr)
- Forgotten my phone and had to turn around to go back and get it.
- Been blocked when I stopped to get a morning soda by people parked in the middle of the freaking parking lot.
- Received 3 rather annoying E-mails that I bascially shouldn't have been dealing with
- Forgot to feed the meter when I parked, so that I had to barrel down and find out that the meter was "out of order".
Mind you, this is all in the space of 15 minutes.
It all worked out, I got my phone, my soda, took care of the e-mailed issues, and am planning on introducing corporal punishment to one of the teachers at our little homeschool late tonight.
And the day's only half-over. :)
