On Evolution

Over on iRights, an excellent post on the Evolution V. Creationism foofraw. It's far too long to post in it's entirety, would I wish to. Go over an read it.

he makes the excellent point that science is not about "why", it is fundamentally about exploring the "how". You want philosophy, science isn't what you're dealing with. Is there a God? Are there more than one? Sorry, says science, wrong calling address. No Evidence. No Answer.

How did like develop on this little blue planet? Ahhh, says science, Now I can help you! If the answer conflicts with your beliefs, well, sorry but them's the facts as best as I can ascertain them. You don't like it, prove the theory wrong. Simple.
