How not to run an airline website
I just finished purchasing $2500+ worth of airline tickets from the largest US Airline. Once I completed the purchase, I did not see any confirmation of the purchase or even the reservation.
I went back to the home page. From there, I could not confirm that I had, in fact, purchased the tickets, I could not even find my reservation.
A phone call, with the requist 5-10 minute wait, confirmed that I had the reservations, made the purchase, and the tickets were being sent to the correct address.
Why didn't I get this info directly?
