I am getting hardware errors when I try to launch my scanning software. No fun. You may have noticed the flickr link to the right. If you haven't seen the link, my photostream is at http://www.flickr.com/photos/tclifton.
I have been putting the scanner through its paces recently with over 1000 slides scanned. (274 posted on flickr). But I still have a ways to go.
My scanner is a Nikon LS-2000, since it is about 5 years old, I am guessing that I am SOL. I know that there isn't any recent software for it. Does anyone fix these things?
What a pain.
There may be a plus side, if I get a new scanner it will have a FireWire/USB 2 interface, and it will run on OS X.
But I didn't really want spend the morning researching scanners.
