My wife brought home a new TV yesterday afternoon (how cool is that?). Of course, I hooked up the MIVOmac to the new TV, and the result is that we now have WAY better on-screen results.

At 800 x 600 resolution, the text in iTunes is clearly readable (With our old set, even if I set the display resolution to 640 x 480 the text was difficult to read). The iTunes visuals are much improved-- everything is clearer and sharper. The screensaver photos are so much more impressive. I can't wait to connect to my wife's iMac and pull photos of our kids over the network and display them on the TV as an iPhoto slideshow. I need to get going on that...

By the way, the new TV is a Panasonic TAO flat-screen model from Costco. I checked the Panasonic web site, and it seems that this particular TV is top of the line for this tube size (27"). The cool thing is that my wife didn't pay anywhere near the MSRP. Cool.  1:08:18 AM
