MIVOMac Update
iPhoto Librarian works like a charm for viewing your iPhoto library over a network. In my case, I use iPhoto Librarian view my wife's iPhoto library on my MIVOMac over our home network to view our photos on our home television screen.
Just enable file sharing on the machine where you use iPhoto, and use iPhoto Librarian on the remote machine to access your iPhoto library over the network (You'll need to mount the shared volume on the remote machine first).
