Apple has some great toys. One of them is the Darwin Streaming Server. This open source project provides a streaming video server for free. It can stream live video and pre-recorded stuff (like QuickTime movies, MPEG4 files and MP3 music). Very slick. It takes very little time to setup and it just works. The built-in administrative web server is easy to use and also just works. If you need to stream video or music, this might work well for you.
